This Privacy Policy applies to the NextMQ websites, documentation, dashboard, APIs, and related services operated under the NextMQ brand (collectively, the "Service"). If you have a separate written agreement with NextMQ, that agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect information in a few categories:
- Account and profile information. This can include your name, email address, organization membership, role, authentication provider details, and session information when you create or use an account.
- Service data. This includes queue names, job payloads, scheduler and worker configuration, webhook URLs, job results, logs, alerts, support messages, and other content you submit to or generate through the Service.
- Billing and transactional information. If paid plans or other commercial features are enabled, we and our payment providers may collect billing contacts, subscription status, and transaction records.
- Usage, device, and diagnostic data. We collect information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referral source, pages viewed, timestamps, request metadata, approximate location inferred from IP, and product diagnostics.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for sign-in, security, preferences, and analytics.
How We Collect Information
- Directly from you when you sign up, sign in, configure the Service, or contact us.
- Automatically when you browse the marketing site, use the dashboard, or make requests to the API.
- From third-party providers you choose to use with the Service, such as social sign-in providers or payment processors.
How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate users, manage organizations, and administer access.
- Process jobs, register workers, deliver webhooks, store job state, and provide logs, alerts, and diagnostics.
- Send transactional communications such as one-time sign-in codes, invites, account notices, and alert emails.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and misuse of the Service.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
How We Share Information
We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We use vendors that support hosting, infrastructure, databases, authentication, analytics, email delivery, and payments.
- Within your organization. Organization owners, admins, and other authorized members may access account and operational data associated with their workspace.
- At your direction. The Service may transmit job data and related metadata to webhook endpoints and integrations that you configure.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or if reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or the public.
- Business transfers. Information may be disclosed as part of a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer content for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies, Sessions, and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect accounts, and understand how the Service is used. The marketing site also uses Vercel Analytics to measure performance and traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some parts of the Service may not function properly without them.
Because there is no uniform industry standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, our sites do not currently respond to them.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, keep accounts secure, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Queue and job data may be automatically removed according to service retention settings, system limits, and operational needs. Backups and security logs may be retained for a limited additional period.
Your Choices and Rights
- You can update certain account information from the dashboard.
- You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or export of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law and reasonable verification.
- You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in the message.
- If you use social sign-in, you may also manage some information directly with your authentication provider.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Those measures include encrypted transport, access controls, logging, and encryption of stored secrets where appropriate. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Processing
The Service may be hosted and operated in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that information may be processed in countries with data protection rules different from those of your home jurisdiction.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Service.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here and update the effective date above. Where appropriate, we may also provide additional notice through the Service.
